I love my “job” because it is the perfect combination of all my favorite things: creating inviting ambiances, delighting in love, supporting others and gifting me some of the sweetest friendships.

We have two carbon copies we call “Mox” and “Fin”. Being their momma has been my greatest joy and has given me valuable insight to how the Mother of the Bride + Groom must feel.

What started out as two besties wanting a creative outlet has turned into a blooming event business. HCE was originally named “Three Strands Events” after the scripture Ecclesiastes 4:12 “A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” We knew from the very beginning we wanted to love others well and make God famous through all of our efforts. Since then the name has changed but the roots have not.
I absolutely love what I do. I love creating beautiful color pallets and bringing a bride’s vision to life. I get the privilege to work alongside incredible vendors who have turned into dear friends. There’s nothing better than watching family and friends come together to celebrate the newlyweds surrounded by an atmosphere we’ve helped curate with the bride and groom. Most of all, I love getting to know each couple - we are always so sad when the wedding is over because it means we won’t talk as often!
“Haley was our day of planner at our farm style wedding in September 2021. She took the time to talk to me and call all the vendors the week of so I did not have to.
